Abstract
Long-term relationship: Biotin labels on RNAs, and possibly other biomacromolecules, are easily oxidized causing a dramatic loss of affinity for streptavidin and adversely affecting the measurement of high-affinity interactions. A new SPR method has been developed for measuring the very low rate-dissociation constants of biotin- and biotin oxide-conjugated RNAs with streptavidin. © 2013 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
