Abstract

Has Felix Bloch ever met Alois Alzheimer? We don’t know. In principle it would have been possible. If ever, they would have been open to collaboration. May be even more than researchers today fighting with the administrative hurdles and complicated, sometimes unwritten rules of todays research funding.
