Lay summary
In the "Dynamical Coupling in Motor-Sensory Function Substitution" project, we look to improve the interaction of the human body with intelligent artificial limbs by exploiting whole body dynamics to obtain more information about the intended movements from the patient. With the information gathered we traduce the intended motion into activity of the artificial limb, as well as, transmit information from the artificial limb into the human body for complete body awareness. The goal of this project is to include artificial limbs as part of the patient's body schema to make them more intuitive and easy to use.
